Felissa Rose has been heavily involved in the entertainment industry for over 25 years. She also holds a BFA from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts and has consistently performed in TV, film, and theatre. From New York State Champion in the Dramatic Interpretation category of the National Forensic League to her 100+ roles in feature films, Rose has been a staple in the horror genre, playing villain or victim as well as taking on other characters in dramas and various comedies. She has been a consultant with Fangoria Magazine, travels around the country to sign autographs at horror conventions, and is now producing her own horror films.

Considered one of horror’s top scream queens, she’s best known for her work in the cult classic SLEEPAWAY CAMP franchise, and in 2004 reprised her role as Angela Baker in RETURN TO SLEEPAWAY CAMP. She’s also been sought after by several notorious filmmakers and directors to contribute to acclaimed documentaries such as GOING TO PIECES: The Rise and Fall of the Slasher Film, HIS NAME WAS JASON, and SOMETHING TO SCREAM ABOUT. She was also featured on Adam Green’s show SCARY SLEEPOVER. Rose most recently produced music videos for metal band Slayer and has associate produced and acted in the acclaimed horror film DEATH HOUSE, coming in 2017.

Famous Monsters Convention Dallas will also be screening Rose’s new indie film FAMILY POSSESSIONS and hosting her co-star, Mark Patton.
